Kitts, Ira G.
Ira G. Kitts, 91, passed away May 27, 2019. He was born June 20, 1927 in Bluefield, Virginia and resided in Middleburg, Florida for the past thirty-five years.
He was the widower of Ruth Kitts. They shared more than thirty-four years of marriage together. Ira attended school in Bluefield VA. He served in the Navy during World War II.
Ira was employed as a truck driver for thirty-two years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge attaining the level of 32ND degree and was a member of the Shriners. His hobbies were making home improvements, gardening and playing board games. He was a devout Christian, studying the bible daily. He served as a devotional leader and Sunday School teacher in the church.
Ira loved everybody, never complained and was always smiling.
Ira is survived by his loving family, brother; Herbert Kitts, sister; Claudette Kitts, daughter; Connie Diane Brown/ Ray Brown, son; Charles David Kitts/Mary Kitts, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11;00 a.m. on June 8 at Canterfield of Clay County, 1611 Winners Circle, Middleburg Florida 32068. Interment will be at a later date in Bluefield, West Virginia. Kosty, Darin Paul Chief, USN, (Ret.)
Chief Darin Paul Kosty, USN, (Ret.), 51, of Middleburg, FL passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019.
Mr. Kosty was born in Tacoma, Washington and grew up in western New York. After high school, Darin joined the U.S. Navy and retired after 24 years of service followed by working as a civil contractor until 2017. He moved to Florida 32 years ago while serving in the Navy and had been a resident of Middleburg for the past 19 years.
As an avid sports fan, Darin played softball for many Navy teams, enjoyed any kind of car racing, and was a fan of the Clemson University Tigers.
He was fun to be around, adventurous, humorous, a pistol at times, but always a loyal friend.
Mr. Kosty is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 32 years, Laura Kosty, children, Kenneth (Brytani) Kosty, Brendan Kosty and Megan Kosty; parents, Richard and Darla Kosty, two grandchildren, Rilynn and Kamden Kosty, mother-in-law, Connie Johnson and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He also enjoyed being around his fur babies, Seneca and Shea.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the Green Cove Springs Church of Christ with Mr. Claude McEldowney officiating.
The US Navy will be performing Military Honors.

Krasko, Craig A.
Craig A. Krasko, 66, passed away on June 19, 2019. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Middleburg, Fla. Krasko retired from the US Navy and is survived by his wife, Maxima Krasko; father, Raymond L. Krasko; son, Edwardo Krasko; daughter, Jessica (Sabih) Effendi; sister, Candice Poole; 2 grandchildren: Julien and Ayden Effendi; nephew, Donnie Cleveland; niece, Deanna Montalbano; and a host of extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Hardage Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, Fla.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 1606 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, Fla. with Father Andy Blaszkowski officiating.
