Reider, Lillian C.
Lillian C. Reider 74, of Orange Park, Fla. passed away December 22, 2018. She was originally from the Wheeling, West Virginia area but moved to Orange Park, Florida in the early 1980’s.
She had a public school teaching career that spanned more than three decades, teaching at numerous Clay County public schools. She is a published author of a guide which focuses on teaching methods for children with learning disabilities. She was very proud to see her book come to fruition after many years and her life’s passion was helping disadvantaged children to learn and become independent.
She was a huge Pink Floyd fan for most of her life and enjoyed attending their concerts. She was a longtime member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution and had also previously been a member of both Grace and St. Margaret’s Episcopal churches in the Orange Park area.
She is survived by her brother Thomas Waddell, sons Douglas Klingensmith, Robert Reider and granddaughter Katharine Klingensmith. A small memorial is planned to remember her at the Ronnie Van Zant Park, Friday May 3rd around 2pm.
Rush, Rose Anna (Yates)
Rose Anna (Yates) Rush, 87, of Orange Park, FL passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 surrounded by her sons. She was born March 13, 1932 in Millcroft, PA to the late Roy and Catherine Oliverio Copley.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph S. Yates, Sr.; second husband, Anthony Rush; and sisters, Helen, Martha, Dottie and Lorraine McManaway; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Piccioni, Sr. and Ralph S. (Rhonda) Yates, Jr., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Aunt Margarita (Margo) Cico, Uncle Peter (Pete) Oliverio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
No local services will be held. A graveside service will be held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD at a later date.
