FAELLA, SILVIO VINCENT
Silvio Vincent Faella of Orange Park, Florida passed away Monday, September 26, 2011. Born August 2, 1929 to parents Vincent and Jennie Faella in Providence, Rhode Island. Married to Sarah Piscopiello Faella for 60 years. Silvio was a veteran in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. He was retired from the family business. He was a member of Mary, Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Orange Park. He enjoyed music, playing golf and fishing. Silvio is survived by his wife, Sarah Piscopiello Faella; daughters, Diane Faella and Sally-Joyce Faella; grandchildren, Alyssa Faella-Aversa, Brian LaJoie and Kevin LaJoie; and son-in-law, Ron Aversa. Faulk, Joseph C.
Mr. Joseph C. Faulk, age 81, a longtime resident of the Keystone Heights and Starke area died on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Shands Starke Regional Medical Center. Born on September 29, 1930 in Sanford, NC, he was the son of the late William E. and Nettie (Barbee) Faulk. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a switchman at the Starke Telephone Co.. Mr. Faulk was a member of Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Inez Jane (Green) Faulk. Two daughters; Deborah G. House (Shawn) of Keystone Heights and Sarah F. Jones (Ronnie) of Theressa. He is also survived by two sisters: Ruby Marks of Sanford, NC and Ann Smith of Vass, NC and three grandchildren. Mr. Michael “Mike” Thomas Fallatik 52 of Keystone Heights passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Long Island, NY on April 1, 1959. He wasemployed with CMC in Starke as a Punch Hole Operator. He loved his family, the outdoors and music. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. His mother Millie preceded in him in death. Fletcher, Robert L. Sr.
U.S. Veteran Robert L. Fletcher, Sr., 75, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012. He was born on May 17, 1936 in Lewiston, ME to parents Malcolm and Verna Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher had served his country in the United States Marine Corps and had worked as a correctional officer. He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed writing songs and singing at local retirement homes. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Roger Prout. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Fletcher; children, Linda McDaniels and husband Gerald, Tobbie J. Fluck and husband Jeff, Margery Maney and husband Danny and Robert L. Fletcher, Jr. and wife Monica; sister, Harriet Ray and husband Dan; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Florios, James R.
Mr. James R. Florios, age 75 of Middleburg, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Jacksonville. Born on January 8, 1937 in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of the late Fred and Viola (Young) Florios. Mr. Florios had worked as a construction worker with Florios Brothers in Hobart, IN and he served with the U.S. Army. He was associated with O.W.L.S., which is affiliated with the Lutheran Church. Mr. Florios was pre-deceased by his wife Shirley J. (Holbrook) Florios. He is survived by his brother: Fred and his wife Nancy of Jacksonville. His sister: Barbara and her husband Anton Massa of Merrillville, IN. One step-son: Robert Amorelli. Three Step-Daughters: Catherine Johnson, Robin Rine and Diane Guthman. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. (May 10, 1931 - November 7, 2011) Charlotte Rhodes Forest, 80, of Fleming Island FL, passed away following a brief illness Monday, November 7, 2011. Born in Abbeville, MI on May 10, 1931, Charlotte was the eldest of four children to Francis and Eugenia Rhodes. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Jerome Forest; daughters Lynn Hutton of Flagler Beach, Linda Leggett and Patricia Boyer of Jacksonville; step-children John Forest, Holly Dutcher, and Jennifer Flanagan of Orange Park; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; ten nieces and nephews, brother Francis Rhodes of Memphis, TN and sister Barbara Nelson in Como, MS. Charlotte was preceded in death by a son William Michael Boyer, her parents and a sister Peggy Rhodes Woods. She retired from First American Title in 1989 to pursue multiple endeavors which included shrimping, trucking and helping raise her grandchildren. She is loved and will be tremendously missed. Mr. Kenneth Earl Fornshell 88, of Keystone Heights passed away at the Windsor Manor Nursing Home in Starke on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011. Mr. Fornshell was born on Nov. 24, 1922 in Lawrence County, IL and had served in the United States Army. He has been a resident of Keystone Heights for the past 19 years and had retired as a car inspector for the CSX Railroad. His survivors are his wife of 73 years, Mildred Fornshell; children, Brenda Rainey, Barbara Lynn, Jack Fornshell , 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. Ernest Junior “Buddy” Foster, age 71, a long-time resident of Green Cove Springs, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Roberts Care Center in Palatka. He was born on January 26, 1941 in Green Cove Springs, the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Smith) Foster. Prior to his retirement he owned an auto body paint shop in Green Cove Springs. He was of the Baptist faith a volunteer firefighter for the City of Green Cove Springs and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He is survived by his wife; Joyce C. Foster. Two daughters: Sharon (Joe) Hall and Shelia (Jeff) Ball. His son; Steven (Brenda) Foster. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; J.J., Toni, Brooke, Jason, Allen, Joel and Amber. Mrs. Pearlie "Sue" Freeman, 79, of Orange Park, Fla., passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009. She was born on June 21, 1929, in Rome, Ga. She is preceded in death by a loving and devoted husband, William "Bill" Freeman; and by her loving parents, Charles "Boss" Alexander and Nola Davis Alexander; one granddaughter, one great great-granddaughter; four brothers; and three sisters. She is also preceded by several members of her church family at Black Pond Baptist Church. She leaves behind to mourn her, four loving daughters and their husbands, Barbara (Dan) Ferguson; Jackie (Eric) DeFrancesch; Gail (Tommy) Ussery; and Shelia (Roger) Brown; eight grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Alexander. FRENCH, RUSSELL A.
Mr. Russell A. French departed on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the age of 62. He resided in Jacksonville, Fla., cause of death was cancer. He was born on July 10, 1948 in Exter, N.H. he is the son of Willis C. French, Sr., and Ernestine E. French. He is survived by his father Willis French, Sr. and two brothers, Willis French, Jr. of Jacksonville; and Lewis French, Sr. of Raymond, N.H.; seven sisters, Pauline Worrell of Middleburg; Hope Dow of Newfield, N.H.; Sharron Kelly of Manchester, N.H.; Barbara Messina of Manchester, N.H.; Harriet Wallace of Raymond, N.H.; Diane Rodreguez of Texas; Alberta of Manchester. N.H. and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Raymond High School after graduating he went into the United States Navy. One thing he would love to know is that he got the last laugh on his niece Louise also known as Weezie. He will always be remembered and loved. Service will be held at a later date at Jacksonville Memorial for the family.

Mr. Robert Olin “Bobby” Fulgham, Sr. age 54, of Hampton passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville. Mr. Fulgham was born on December 27, 1956 in Palatka to the late Austin Rudolph Fulgham and Sarah Jophine Alexander “Granny Pete” Fulgham and was a lifelong area resident. Prior to retirement he was a construction worker and served in the United States Army. Mrs. Muriel Colgin Fuller 85, of Keystone Heights passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2011. Mrs. Fuller was born on October 31, 1926 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late George L. and Rosalee Boyce Colgin. Prior to Mrs. Fuller’s retirement she was an elementary school teacher in Starke for 34 years and had been very active with Senior Center in Keystone Heights. She was also a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and Melrose Woman’s Club. Her husband Richard “Dick” Fuller had preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by her daughter; Nancy Gentry and her husband Jack of Keystone Heights, a son: Greg Gay of Keystone Heights and one grandson; Samuel. Funeral services for Mrs. Fuller will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Trinity Baptist Church with the viewing being held one hour prior to the service. Richard W. Futch, Sr. age 65, went to be with Jesus on Friday, September 16, 2011. He was born in Jacksonville and was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. Richard retired from the Jacksonville Fire Department in 1979, was a Registered Nurse for 20 years, served in the Navy Reserves and was a member of the Masonic Middleburg Lodge F AM #107 and a 33 Degree Mason and Shriner.
