WAINWRIGHT, JAMES RICHARD “J.R.”

Mr. James Richard “J.R.” Wainwright 97, of Starke passed away peacefully at the
Parkside Assisted Living Facility in Starke on Thursday, October 6, 2011. He was
born on July 14, 1914 in Starke to the late N.D. and Mary “Alvarez” Wainwright.
Being a lifelong resident of Bradford County, Mr. Wainwright had also led a
very active life. He served as Mayor of Starke for three terms, was the Manager
of the State Farmers Market in Starke for many years, and was a retired
farmer and cattleman. Mr. Wainwright memberships included the First United
Methodist Church of Starke, Lions Club, Elks Club, and the Bradford County
Cattleman’s Association. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Katie
Wainwright and two sons; Richard Alvarez Wainwright and David Newnan Wainwright.
Survivors are his daughters; Dr. Mary Katherine Wainwright and Betty Lou Shaw,
nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and will be missed by his family.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at the

WAITES, DONNA MARIE
Mrs. Donna Marie Waites 71, of Keystone Heights passed away following on
Friday, July 29, 2011 in Starke. She was born on December 19, 1939 in
Waycross, Ga. Prior to her retirement she was a Social Services
Director. She had been a longtime member of the Keystone Community
Church and had also attended the Fresh Start Fellowship Church. She was
very involved in her community and loved being active with her church
and family. Survivors are her husband of 42 years, Ron Waites;
children, Deborah Hall, Carol Still, Cynthia Ridaught, Rhonda Greene, Bo
Waites, Lisa Umstattd; siblings, Julia Ann Hulett, Richard Cunningham,
Linda Algna, C. J. Streitler, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great
grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 3 in the
Keystone Community Church with Pastor Rob Morford and Pastor Steve
Conner officiating. Burial followed at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.

WALDRON, MILDRED AMELIA “MILLIE”
Mildred Amelia “Millie” Waldron passed away Wednesday August 31, 2011 in
Orange Park, FL at the age of 83. She was born to Thomas and Josephine
Van Horn on September 15, 1927 in Silver Springs, Maryland. Millie was
blessed with six children, three sons Steven, Ronald, and Richard and
three daughters, Linda, Joanne and Dolores. Millie and Ed were married
on September 4, 1978. She worked as accounts payable clerk in the US
Coast Guard retiring in 1989. Millie loved to crochet. Millie became
affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose when her husband, Ed joined
Parkersbury, West Virginia Lodge #1118. Millie and Ed came to
Moosehaven on March 26, 2003 where she has lived for 8 years. Funeral
Service held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM followed by
interment in the Moosehaven Mausoleum. Services conducted by Rev. Helen
Taylor and Opportunity Chapter. She is survived by her husband, Ed
Waldron, a Moosehaven Resident, Orange Park, Florida and three sons,
Ronald Cliff of Polk City, Iowa, Richard Cliff of Sioux City, Iowa,
Steven Heslop of Maryland and three daughters, Linda Leonard of
Madison, North Carolina, Joanne Vandenburg of Buchan, Georgia Dolores

WALKER, ROBERT STANLEY
Mr. Robert Stanley Walker, 65, passed away Wednesday August 3, 2011
peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Troy, NY to
Stanley and Virginia Walker. He was a longtime resident of Orange Park
and was married to Kay Walker. He attended Watervliet High School Class
of 1964. After high school, he attended Hudson Valley and then went into
the US Army. Bob was a member of the Moose Promenade Square Dancing
club. He was a giving and loving friend to all and loved being able to
put a smile on others faces. He was a talented builder who was the jack
of all trades. He is preceded in death by his parents and late wife
Marcia. He is survived by his wife, Kay Walker; sister, Marie Connelly
(Don); daughters, Janette Branham (DJ),Sherri Johnson (Mike), Lynn
Hargreaves (Cody), Karen Fowler and Jessica Fowler (Brett); son, John
Fowler; seven grandchildren, Sherilyn, Andrew, RJ, Emily, Kyle, Zachary,
and Luke; many nieces and nephews whether by blood or love he is forever
Uncle Bob. We are tremendously grateful to Community Hospice for
embracing our Dad and family with such compassion and love. He was under
Hospice care for a long battle with cancer caused by Agent Orange while

WALLACE, WILLIAM B.
Mr. William B. Wallace, 74, passed away Friday,
January 9, 2011. He was born on October 4, 1936 in Birmingham, AL to
William and Vata Wallace. He was serving in the United States Army
during the Vietnam War when his helicopter was shot down. He received 2
purple hearts and retired as a Major following 20 years of dedicated
service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Middleburg. He
was a Mason and a member of the Morocco Shrine Temple and Scottish Rite
Bodies. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Faye
Wallace; son, Ronald (Brenda) Wallace of Jacksonville; daughter,
Jacquelyn (Raymond) Thomas of Middleburg; grandchildren, Nicole Dragoo,
Lindsey Thomas, Shawn Thomas, Lauren Thomas and Emiley Wallace;
great-grandchildren, Tristan and Rayna Dragoo; sister-in-law, Betty
Jacobs; sisters, Susan (George) Owen and Betty Folsom and several nieces
and nephews. Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 18 at the

WARD, BERTHA S.
Mrs. Bertha S. Ward 102, of Keystone Heights passed away on Thursday May
5, 2011 in Sanford. She was born in Enigma, Georgia on April 22, 1909
to the late Lovick Pierce and Willa Shippey. In 1958 she had moved to
Keystone Heights from Jacksonville and was a homemaker. She was also a
member of the Gadara Baptist Church, an Avon representative, and was
well known for her peanut and pecan brittle. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Reverend Leamon Ward. Survivors are her daughter, Carol
Hodges (Dr. G. E.) Hodges; son, Ronald Leamon Ward (Jane); siblings,
Payel Shippey; J.E. Shippey; 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren,
and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on
Monday, May 9 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr.

WARD, JUDITH KAY
Judith Kay Ward of Orange Park, Florida passed away on June 28, 2011.
She has been a resident of Orange Park for 23 years. The daughter of
Jewel and Cebert Wriston of Mossy, West Virginia was born on April 5,
1945. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dennis Lee Ward and
their two daughters, Jamie (Louis) Poretti of Orange Park, Florida and
Sherry (John) Jarman of Clendenin, West Virginia. She also leaves behind
her brother, Thomas Wriston of Mossy, West Virginia, two grandchildren,
Brittany (James) Senna and Brady Ward McCrosky and three
step-grandchildren, Shane Jarman, Sheena Trost and Marissa Poretti.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents: Jewel and Cebert Wriston of
Mossy, West Virigina and her brother James Wriston of Summersville, West
Virginia. At the family’s request, there will be a private service at a

Ms. Janet Louise Warren age 60 of Chiefland formerly of Wauchula and Sebring,
passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Tri-Counties Hospice Care Center following
an extended illness. Ms. Warren was born on May 12, 1951 to the late George Fisher
and Alice Thomas Warren and was disabled. She was a member of First Methodist Church
of Wauchula. Janet was preceded in death by her twin brother James Lawson Warren.

WASSON, RONALD G.
Ronald G. Wasson, 78, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away December 22, 2012. He was born
in Peoria, IL, to parents, Rolland and Marvel Wasson. He attended high school in Peoria
and Lewistown, IL, graduating in 1952. Ronald joined the Navy for four years and then
began working for Caterpillar Incorporated until his retirement in 1990. At that time he
moved to Fleming Island where he enjoyed a retirement of fishing, golf and travel. He was
preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, and is survived by his loving wife of
32 years, Norma J. Wasson; daughter, Debra Ann Lawrence (Chasel); son, Stephen Wasson;
stepdaughters, Sherri Alexander (Hardie) and Susan Smith; stepsons, Stephen Smith and
Stuart Smith; beloved grandsons, granddaughters, and great grandchildren; as well as
many friends.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and brother-in-law. A private

WATTLES, BENNETT RANSOM
Mr. Bennett Ransom Wattles, 91, passed away peacefully at home on
Saturday April 16, 2011. He was the son of Mr. Bennett Timothy Wattles
and Phebe Goodrich Wattles, and was born in Green Cove Springs. He
served in the United States Army, 663 Engineer Topographic Company,
in Europe during World War Two and was honorably discharged upon
returning home until his retirement in 1989.

Mrs. Mary Margaret Weaver 85, of Keystone Heights passed away at Shands
Hospital in Starke Fla. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Mary was born in
Meigs County, Ohio on May 1, 1926 to the late Ross and Marie (Carnahan)
Norris. She has been a resident of Keystone Heights for the past six
years and was a homemaker. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter,
Susan Lightfoot, grandson, Michael Lightfoot, brother, Carroll Norris,
and an infant sister, Rachel Norris. Survivors are her husband of 64
years, Richard Weaver and their children, Roger Weaver (Cathy) of
Keystone Heights, FL, Theresa Pressley (Randy) of Syracuse, OH, and Phil
Weaver of Hartford, WV. She is also survived by her siblings, Virgil

Nurse prior to retirement.

August 23, 2011. He was born to Leo and Dorothy Weiscopf on November 18,

Welch, James D.
James D. Welch (Tex), age 78, died peacefully at his home on December 24,
2011, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 18, 1933 in
Franklin, TX to the late Frank Welch and Addie Click. He moved to Jacksonville
in 1954 and started his career with Ryder Truck Lines, where he retired after
37 years of service. Mr. Welch was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
James is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bonnie, his two sons and daughters-in-law,
James and Dawn Welch of Green Cove Springs and Daniel and Michelle Welch of Monroeville,
AL, his granddaughter Dana Welch, one sister Bernice Keir of St Cloud, FL, and one
brother Darrell Welch of Tampa, FL. He is further survived by nieces and nephews and
many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, at Russell Haven
of Rest Funeral Home, 2335 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. The Reverend

WELLS, ILA JEAN FULLERTON
Mrs. Ila Jean Fullerton Wells, 95, resident of Oxford, Ohio, since 2007,
died peacefully July 3, 2011, at The Knolls of Oxford. She was born
September 12, 1915, in Atkinson, Neb. Her childhood was spent in
Nebraska; her youth, in Penney Farms, Fla., where her father was an
investor in Mr. J.C. Penney's experimental farm community. She lived
many years in Daytona Beach, Fla., caring for her husband, Jack Lawrence
Wells, who was severely disabled by a stroke in 1967. They were
long-time members of the Stroke Club and spent many summers at Easter
Seals Camp Challenge in Mt. Dora, Fla. Her husband preceded her in
death in 1996. She is survived by one brother, Donald Fullerton, Green
Cove Springs; two daughters: Toni Saldivar (Sam), Oxford, OH, and
Christine Head, Deland, Fla.; four grandchildren: Samuel M. Saldivar,
Los Angeles, CA, Matthew Saldivar, New York, NY, Hannah Meyers (Jaysn),
Waukesha, WI, and Joshua Head, Deland, FL. She will be remembered as a
talented artist, avid reader, gifted writer of poetry and prose, loving
wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Memorial service will be

FL, on Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow in the Penney

Mr. James Albert Westbrook, 68, passed away Saturday June 18, 2011. He
was born March 6, 1943 in Conneaut, OH to Donald and Freeda Johnston
Westbrook. He had served in the Army National Guard and was retired from
the printing business. He had resided in the Jacksonville area for the
past 3 years coming from Tucson, AZ. Survivors include his daughters,
Pam (Jim) Mylrea, Jeana Westbrook and Jennifer (fiancé, Matt Kornick)
Westbrook; his son, Aaron (Jessica) Westbrook; and six grandchildren.

WESTFALL, GEORGIA I.
(January 21, 1922 - October 11, 2011)
Georgia I. Westfall, 89, of Green Cove Springs, FL, went to be with her Lord
on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. She was born on January 21, 1922 in Belleview,
IL to parents, Delbert and Ethel Richards. Mrs. Westfall was an LPN and was a
member of the Green Cove Springs Assembly of God Church. She was very active in
her community, volunteering at Orange Park Medical Center, the Clay County Prison
Ministry, the American Cancer Society, Governors Creek Nursing Home as well as
being a volunteer driver for Hospice patients. She was an active member of
the Salvation Army of Clay County Women’s Home League and served as their
Secretary, Program Chairman and Worship Chairman. Mrs. Westfall was preceded
in death by her son, Darrell Westfall and is survived by her son, Merrill
Westfall and wife Susan; daughters, Anita Lawrence and husband Bob and Marlene
Heckman; brother, Fred Richards; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the

Mr. Mike Whidden, 49, of East Palatka and formerly of Keystone
Heights passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Putnam Community
Medical Center in Palatka. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary
Jean Gilliam and his father, Harley Whidden. He is survived by his
fiancée, Angela Parrish of East Palatka; two sisters and
brothers-in-law, Deborah and Ronnie Masters of Keystone Heights, and
Lisa and Robbie Bullington of Winter Haven; two local nieces, Nicole
Mizell and Rachel Hensley, both of Keystone Heights; and one local
nephew, Douglas Masters of Keystone Heights. Gifts in Mike’s memory may

Mrs. Edna Corrine Whitehead, age 87 of Farmville, VA passed away Saturday,
September 22, 2012 in Farmville. She was a devout Christian, avid gardener, loved
sewing, cooking, attending wine tasting events, watching birds and she loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband Denver Dell Whitehead and her son-in-law
Charles Andrew Bowen, III. She is survived by; her children, Dellene Bowen of

A beloved Angel Robyn Lee Wilkerson passed away Thursday May 12, 2011
after a long battle with cancer. Born on March 7, 1965 in Bennington, VT,
she is survived by her loving and devoted husband and soul mate of 24 years;
Shawn Wilkerson; also surviving her step-daughter, Toni Wilkerson; and her
mother-in-law, Elsie L. Wilkerson; her father and mother: John and Sharon
Sheldon; 2 sisters: Tracy (Jason) Cummings and Roxanne Benson; brother-in-law;
Jerry Wilkerson; grandmother, Florence Strickland; and several nephews and
many-many devoted and loyal friends. She was an avid animal lover, especially
her horses and dogs. She touched all the lives of people she met. She truly
is a special person who will be missed. Funeral services were held Monday,
May 16 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4342 County Road 218,

Mr. William Scott Wilkes, 31, witty, fun, and full of life, entered
eternal life with the Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Born August, 1979,
he grew up on Belmore farm in Keystone Heights, graduated from Keystone
Heights High School in 1998, and received his Bachelor’s Degree from
University of North Florida in construction management. Scott was
employed with E. Vaughn Rivers Construction for nine years and recently
received his commercial contractor’s license. He loved spending time
with his family, friends, and Florida Gator football. He is predeceased
by his grandmother, Georgia Murrhee, who passed away in May, 2011.
Amazing Husband and Father, he leaves to this earth his wife of five
years, Stephanie; son, Clayton 2 ½, and daughter Harper, 3 months old;
his parents, The Honorable William A. and Delores M. Wilkes;
grandfather, Jennings Murrhee; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph J.
(Joey) and Dawn Wilkes; sister and brother-in-law, Kristen and Dr.
Andrew West; nephew, Jennings Wilkes; niece, Anna Wilkes; future niece,

Fannie Mae Williams (Fan) was born October 23, 1919 in a place called Stone Place
near Macon, Mississippi. After leaving Stone Place the family moved to a place
called Bushes, Alabama. There in Bushes, Bobby (Bo), Sylone (Hon-Doll/Tee-Wee) Luke
(Man), R L (Nenn), Lovelle (Red), and Flozell Jr. (Bud) were born.
Soon the family moved back to Mississippi, a place called the Robinson Plantation,
there Sadie (Bae-Bee) Earlie James (Bubu) and Vera Mae (Sister) were Born.
This completed the circle of children born to Flozell and Katie Windham.
Fannie Mae confessed Christ early as her personal savior and served her family,
church and community wherever she was throughout her life. She departed this
life at her home in Starke, Florida Wednesday Morning, September 14, 2011
at 5:30 AM. She was preceded in death by one son, one grandson, and five brothers.
She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Herbert C. (MariaFe) Winston of Jacksonville,
Florida and a daughter, Rosie Mae Greggs of Irvington, New Jersey, five sisters:

Church and had been the Manager of Clay Springs Apartments and the Fina
Convenience stores. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Gary
Allen Knight; and daughter, Patricia Ann Grubbs. Survivors include her
husband of 39 years, Marion Williams; children, Toby (June) Grubbs,

Williams, Ida Mae Newman
Ida Mae Newman Williams, 84, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Peacefully on
Monday, February 25, 2013. She was the daughter of Bob and Edna Newman and the
oldest of 9 children and mother of 5 children. Ida was married for 52 years to
Charles Williams. In Knoxville, TN she worked as a ticket seller at a movie theater
and then at a bean processing factory where she carried 50lb bags of beans. Ida also
worked at Kress 5 & 10 store and at W. T. Grants. Her 1st job after moving to Florida
was at W. T. Grants in Jacksonville. She also worked for Sears and Cedar Hills
Utility. Ida volunteered for over 13 years with the Green Cove Springs Athletic
Association. She helped with football, baseball, softball and cheerleading as well
as with the many fundraisers needed to keep the kids playing. Ida loved to shop and
spend time with her family and friends. She loved to travel to Gatlinburg, TN and the
Smokey Mountains. She enjoyed connecting with family and friends on Facebook and was
an active Farmville player. Her biggest and best jobs were as a wife, mother,
grandmother and great grandmother. Ida will be deeply missed by her loving family
and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles E. Williams
in 2005 and her son, Victor M. Williams in 1986. Survivors include her sons, Charles
“Mike” Williams and Ricky E. Williams; daughters, Patricia S. Zeigler (William) and
Teresa L. Williams (Troy Fish); brothers, Robert “Junior” Newman and Michael “Mickey”

Deborah “Debbie” Lynne Willimon Wilson, 58, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away
peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She was born April 6, 1953 in Pensacola, FL
to parents Clifton P. and Mary Emily Head Willimon. She was a life long resident of
the Clay County area and a 1971 graduate of Clay High School. Debbie was of the Baptist
faith a faithful servant of God and attended Russell Baptist Church where she was a
Sunday School Teacher and a member of the choir. When trying to tell you a little
about her she said it best on her facebook bio “I am a Christian, a wife, a mother
and grandmother and friend by the grace of God. In the Garden, He pursued us; In
the ark, He protected us; In the wilderness, He provided for us; On the cross, He
proved to us that He alone is worthy of ultimate trust.” Debbie is preceded in death
by her parents and her brother, Timothy Willimon. She is survived by her husband,
Max R. Wilson; children, Margaret Lynne Clary Matheson (Bradley), Martin Sims Clary
(Bridget) and Jane Emily Clary Buchanan (Clinton); brothers, Mike Willimon (Vanessa),

Juanita M. Knowles Wilson, age 74, of Green Cove Springs, a retired
entrepreneur, passed away peacefully Tuesday August 09, 2011 at the
Community Hospice Hadlow Center. She was born in Green Cove Springs on
March 11, 1937 to Marion Knowles and Ethel Wilkerson. She is preceded in
death by her husband of 12 years, William E. Wilson. She is survived by
her three loving sons; Michael Kubeck (Debra) of Douglas, GA., Alan
Kubeck (Karen) of Tulsa, OK., Ricky Kubeck (Denise) of Keaton Beach,
Fla.; two sisters; Mickie Amos (Clarence) of Old Town, Fla., Shirley

Waynesboro, Tn., Donald Knowles of Old Town, Fla., and her four

WILSON, KENNETH LEE
Mr. Kenneth Lee Wilson,a resident of Penney Farms, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005
at the Pavilion for Health Care at Penney Retirement Community at the age of 88.
Born July 2, 1916 in Pittsburg, PA. Mr. Wilson came to Penney Farms 14 years
ago from White Plains, NY. A longtime editor of Christian Herald magazine, he
was a world traveler who worked with missionaries and wrote hundreds of articles
about his experiences. He authored three books: Angel at Her Shoulder, Have Faith
Without Fear and All Things Considered. Mr. Wilson later worked for the Christian
relief organizations World Vision and Feed the Children.
In his youth, he was an avid photographer and ran his own print shop. He enjoyed
reading and woodworking. In his retirement years he was the founder and a member of
Penney Writers. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Penney Memorial Church and First
Baptist Church of White Plains, NY. He was an ordained minister of the Church
Of Christ. In Aug. of 2004, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by Juanita Wilson,
his beloved wife of 63 years. Known for his wonderful sense of humor, he was loved
and admired by his many friends and his family.
He is survived by two daughters: Emily W. Carter of Bethel, CT. and Sally W.
Siler (Sam) of Tallahassee, Fl.; two sons: David Lee Wilson of Kihei, HI. and
James Kenneth Wilson (Janet) of Westfield, NJ. as well as eight grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. William Coleman Wites, Jr. 73 a longtime resident of Keystone Heights
passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2011 at the Shands UF in Gainesville
following and extended illness. Mr. Waites was born on September 26, 1938 in
Jacksonville, FL to the late William C. and Agnes (Padgett) Waites and had served
in the United States Air Force. He was a 1956 graduate of Paxon High School in
Jacksonville, had attended Stetson University in Deland, and also worked part time
at the Keystone Heights Golf and Country Club.
Mr. Waites was preceded in death by his sister in law; Donna Waites and is survived

Mrs. Foncine Fortson Wood was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on September 26,
1945, to Richard Merle Fortson and Marianne Patterson Fortson (deceased
April 2010). She is survived by her father Merle, her sister Fiona
Fortson Janelle (Larry), her husband of 44 years, James L. (Jim) Wood,
and her two wonderful children, James L. Wood Jr. (Lisa Bodvar) and
Jennifer L. Wood (Mark Anthony Ryder) as well as loving niece Caitlin
Janelle, nephew Cameron Janelle and two beautiful Pembroke Corgi dogs,
Annie and Macaulay. She passed on Saturday, July 23, 2011, listening to
ocean waves and surrounded by loving family. Foncine and Jim met at
Indiana University-Bloomington in 1963 and married June 10, 1967 in
Kokomo, Indiana. They raised their children in Munster, Indiana and
Naperville, Illinois. Foncine was an avid reader, equestrian mom,
adventurous traveler, golfer and enthusiastic supporter of all things
related to children and animals. Foncine graduated from Kokomo High
School with honors in June 1963 and continued her education at Indiana
University-Bloomington. While working and raising children, she also
earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming from Purdue
University, a Bachelor of Science-Computer Science at North Central
College and a Master of Science-Management from National-Louis
University. A Celebration of Life will be held in her memory from
5:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, August 13, at the Eagle Harbor Golf Course
Clubhouse at 2217 Eagle Harbor Parkway, Fleming Island, FL 32003.

It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing of
Mr. Jimmie Lee Woodie, father of Engineer Micheal Woodie T149
A Shift. Mr. Woodie, 75, long time resident of Orange Park,
Florida passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 in Edwardville, VA.
He was a member of Smithland Baptist Church, Heathsville, VA.
He served in the United States Navy and retired from Carolina
Frieght after 26 years. He was a member of the Northern Neck
Middle Peninsula Parkinsons Support Group at Irvington, VA.
He loved to fish and spent time on the Potomac River. Jimmie
was also an avid NASCAR fan and traveled extensively in the U.S.
and abroad. He is preceded in death by his son, Lee Woodie. He is
survived by Betty S. Sisk, daughter, Kelly Reed of Houston TX;
Michelle Sexton, of Greer, S.C.; son , Michael Woodie of Middleburg;
two sisters, Peggy Wilkes of Hickory, N.C. and Dean Noak of Houston, TX;
six Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A local service
was held on Saturday, May 14 in Heathsville Va., and a memorial service
will be held at Boiling Springs Baptist Church in Purlear, N.C.
at a later date.
Wright, Connor James
Connor James Wright, age 18, passed away December 16, 2011. He was born in Raleigh,
NC. He was student. Connor is survived by his father Steven Wright and mother Gwendolyn
Wright, sister Ashley Wright and brother Tyler Wright. A memorial service will be
held, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Shindler Drive Baptist Church at 6:00 PM.

WRIGHT, HAROLD R.
Harold R. Wright, age 79, passed away May 31, 2011. He was born in
Baker, Montana and had live in Clay County for 40 years. He is survived
by his wife June D. Wright, son David Wright, 2 daughters, Valerie
Birkenhauer and Tess Lucas, brother Orvel Wright, 6 grandchildren,
13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Funeral service was
held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601
Old Jennings Rd. Middleburg, FL 32068 with Rev Rick Crews officiating.
Friends were received from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment with
military honors will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park. Post tributes at
