RABON, L. JOHN “LRB”
Mr. L. John Rabon “LRB”, age 46, of Middleburg, a house painter, passed
away unexpectedly, Thursday August 4, 2011 at Flagler Hospital in St.
Augustine. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 12, 1964 to Leon
J. Rabon and Nancy Burrows Rabon. He is preceded in death by his mother
Nancy and two brothers; Michael and Timothy Rabon. He is survived by
his father, Leon Joseph Rabon of Middleburg; brother, Ken Rabon of
Pouler, Ga.; two sisters, Janice Sumler (James), and Christine Collins,
of Middleburg. He had many nieces and nephews, and he loved the Little
River Band. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a

Raderstorf, Erica Sunderland
(June 12, 1977 - March 10, 2012)
Erica Sunderland Raderstorf, age 34, of Orange Park,
Florida and Cottonwood Heights, Utah passed away on
March 10, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer.
Erica was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and
friend. Erica was married to Dave on June 27, 1997. She
was a proud and loving mother to Taylor and Benjamin.
Much of her time was spent focusing on her family.
She volunteered regularly at Paterson Elementary
and for the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts organizations.
Recently Erica had a passion for talking about Cancer
Awareness. She spoke at events and participated in walks to
raise money for research. Erica will join her mother, Sheri Sunderland, who preceded
her in July 2010. She is survived by her husband Dave Raderstorf; daughter Taylor and
son Benjamin as well as her father Ernie Sunderland of Salt Lake City, UT; her brother
Sean Sunderland of Boston, MA and many other family and friends. A Memorial Service
will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The

Raiford, Patricia T.
Patricia T. Raiford, age 81, passed away December 16, 2011. She was born in Hartford,
Connecticut and had lived in Orange Park since 1972. She was a retired teacher
of Robert E. Lee High School, a member of the ZTA Sorority, an avid tennis player,
line dancer, and loyal FSU Fan. She is survived by her husband of 57 years John F.
Raiford, 2 sons Thomas J. (Mary) and Robert W. (Suzanne) Raiford, daughter Barbara
Ann Grogan, sister Frances Popstojanovic-Holmstrom, 5 grandchildren Lee, John,
Tyler, Marissa, and Skylar. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, she will always
be remembered for her love of life and people and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Catherine's
Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave. Orange Park, with Fr. James R. Boddie, Jr.,

Raines, Shirley J.
Shirley J. Raines, 73, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013.
She was born on April 30, 1939 in Green Cove Springs, FL to parents Marion and Ethel
Wilkerson Knowles. Mrs. Raines had worked as a Key Punch Operator for Gustafson’s Dairy
for over 20 years. She loved to shop, play Word Search, going to the beach as well as
tending to her rose garden. Mrs. Raines will be dearly missed by her loving family and
friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Lloyd Raines.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Raines Kinnear (Lee), Lloyd Raines, Jr. and
Roger Raines (Melinda); brothers, Ronald Knowles (Sue) and Don Knowles; sister, Mickie
Amos (Clarence); grandchildren, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Racheal and Christina and
great-grandchildren, Riley and Javier. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm

Mrs. Isabella “Bell” Renehan passed away Saturday June 4, 2011 in the
Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 87. She married Robert Renehan
on January 17, 1942. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1991.
They had two children, Phyllis, and Robert. She came to Moosehaven on
June 18, 2002 where she resided for almost 9 years. Memorial Mass held
on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Moosehaven Chapel.
Inurnment will be in the Moosehaven Mausoleum at a later date. Her
children, Phyllis Bucci, and Robert Renehan both of Orange Park and 6

Mrs. Raymonde Rachel Reneson, 86, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in
Jacksonville, Fla. She was born on October 25, 1924 in Normandy, France
to Rene and Rachel Bouessy Dufresne. She had moved to Green Cove Springs
in 2002 from Webster and Dudley Massachusetts. She was Catholic and was
a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island. She
loved her family, dancing, playing Bingo, watching game shows and soap
operas. She loved giving to others and was a member of the Catholic
Council of Women. Survivors include her daughter, Elisabeth R. “Betty”
Alix (Rick, aka “Mr. Adorable”); brothers, Roland and Pierre Dufresne;
grandchildren, Christyann and Jay; great-grandchildren, Clarissa,
Brittany, Sophie, Tyler and Ryan. A Mass of Christian Burial was
celebrated Wednesday, June 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with
Father Donal Sullivan as Celebrant. Inurnment of cremains followed in

RIVENBARK, LARRY DENSMORE
Mr. Larry Densmore Rivenbark, 75 of Clay Hill, passed away Thursday May
12, 2011. He was a native of Teachey, NC and a resident of the Jacksonville
area since 1967. He retired from the Jacksonville NAS as an instrument
mechanic after 32 years and also served his country in the US Air Force
for 8 years. He was a member of the Russell Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister Betty Halso. Survivors include
his wife of 31 years, Adriana Rivenbark, children, Steven Rivenbark, Chris
Rivenbark, Jon Rivenbark, Tarina (Larry) Johnson, Terry (Carolyn) Mooney,
Tannis Benes, Tessa Mooney and Tara Wickman, one brother Donald (Zane)
Rivenbark, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and the mother
of his children Fredda Rivenbark. Funeral services were held Wednesday,
May 18 in the Russell Baptist Church. Burial followed in Russell Haven

Peggy Alice Rivers, 66, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away October 27, 2011. She
was born on March 21, 1945 in Tenso, VA to Clarence and Sybil Farmer. She had been a
resident of Green Cove Springs for 56 years and was a member of Little Ruth Old Regular
Baptist Church. Mrs. Rivers was predeceased by her father. Survivors include her husband
of over 40 years, Robert Rivers; mother, Sybil Mullins; sons, John Rivers (Adele),
Matthew Rivers (Jacqueline); sister, Myrna Hutchings (Billy); grandchildren, Jessica
Johnson, Jeffery Rivers, Ryan Rivers, Chloe Rivers; several nieces, nephews and greats.

ROBERSON, JOHN NICHOLAS
Mr. John Nicholas Roberson, Sr. 66, of Keystone Heights passed away on
Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 in Gainesville following an extended illness. Mr.
Roberson was born on March 9, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John
and Barbara (Westoff) Roberson and had retired as a Communications
Technician. He has been a resident of the area since 2000 and was a
member of the First Baptist Church of Keystone Heights, and loved his
family along with his church activities and music. Survivors are his
wife of 27 years, Carole Ann Roberson of Keystone Heights, children,
John Nicholas Roberson, Jr. of Deland, Nichola Jean Roberson and Tracy
Nelson both of Winter Park, and William Nelson of Keystone Heights. He
is also survived by his siblings, Donna Mora of Prim Brook Pines, Jeff
Roberson of Davy, Butch Roberson of Crawfordville, Teresa Keller of
Starke, and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 in the First
Baptist Church of Keystone Heights with Pastor Jim Prose officiating.

Ian Robertson, 65 of Green Cove Springs, FL died Wednesday morning with family at his
side. Mr. Robertson was a native of New Biggin by the Sea, England and was a resident
of Clay County for the past 7 years having moved here from Telford, PA. He was an
industrial painter with Rulon and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pennsylvania.
Survivors include his wife Gwen Robertson, two sons, Kevin (Kristina) Robertson and
Steven Robertson, daughter Angela Reyes, brother Brian Robertson, three sisters Eleanor
(Wayne) Robison, Carol Robertson and Elaine Smith, seven grandchildren, Cameron, Michaela,
McKenzie, Kylee, Logan, Payton, and Tessa. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by two
sons, Mark and Peter, brother, Frank and a granddaughter McKenna. Funeral Services will

Mr. Robert Lewis Robie, 62 of Green Cove Springs, Fla., passed away
Wednesday, August 17, 2011. He had been a resident of the Jacksonville
area for over 40 years and retired from the U.S. Navy after 28 years of
service. He was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church for the
past 4 years. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Robie, 2 daughters,
Lori (Donnovan) Waugh and Michelle (Marty) Anderson, 3 step sons, Ben

Mr Theodore Daniel Robbins Jr. age 73 (Jan 16, 1931) a resident of Keystone
Heights died, Friday Dec. 31, 2004 at the Gainesville Veterans Hospital.
Mr.Robbins was a native of Terre Haute, IN coming to Keystone Heights three
years ago and has been a resident of Clay County for the past ten years. He
worked as a sign painter and was a security guard. Mr. Robbins enjoyed fishing,
hunting, bowling and painting and he was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Robbins is
survived by his wife, Jeannine Rebecca Robbins of Keystone Heights; two
daughters: Penney Lowe of Middleburg and Treva Hillyard of Keystone Heights;
son, Terrance Robbins of Jacksonville; brothers: Robert Robbins of Madison Heights,
MI., and Tom Robbins of Columbus, OH; two sisters: Betty and JoAnn both of
Columbus, OH; four grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.

Mr. Jason Allen Robinson 40, of Starke passed away suddenly on Friday
May 6, 2011 at Shands Starke. Born on Jan. 10, 1971 in South Pittsburg,
Tenn. He moved to Starke from Orange Park, 14 years ago. He was Vice
President of Jackson’s Builders Supply and a member of the Madison
Street Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon, Usher, and Sunday
School teacher. Previously he had retired as a Dept. Head from Publix in
Jacksonville. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Monica Jackson
Robinson; son, Jason Corey Robinson of Starke; daughters, Reese
Elisabeth and Reganne Ashleigh Robinson, both of Starke; father and
mother, Rev. Jerry A. and Glenda Jean Hodges Robinson of Orange Park.

Mrs. Mercedes Agustina Bello Rodriguez, 76, passed away on August 20,

Rogers, Everson Melvin
Everson Melvin Rogers, 77, of Orange Park, FL passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. He
was born on April 11, 1935 in North Conway, NH to parents Scott Frederick and Geneva
Madeline Rogers. Mr. Rogers lived in Satellite Beach, FL where he was stationed at
Patrick Air Force Base before moving to Orange Park, FL where he has lived for the past
31 years. Mr. Rogers served his nation in The United States Air Force and retired
after 26 1/2 years of honorable service. He was a Senior Systems Analysis for the Unysis
Corporation. Mr. Rogers is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, June Rogers; five
children: Karl Rogers of Jacksonville, FL, Ret. US Army Sergeant Kurt Rogers (Christie)
of Middleburg, FL, Kerry Rogers (Melissa) of Riverview, FL, Sergeant 1st Class US Army
Kory Rogers (Heather) of Ft. Stewart, GA, Lieutenant Colonel US Army Kristian Rogers
(Leslie), Clarksville, TN and adopted daughter, Martina Johnston of Orange Park, FL;
mother-in-law, Anne Myslivy; brother, Errol Rogers of Syracuse, NY; eleven grandchildren
and 2 great-grandchildren and one on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews and
his faithful dog “Missy”.

Mr. Tommy Junior Roland, 57 of Green Cove Springs, Fla., passed away
Monday, May 16, 2011. He was a native of Jacksonville and moved to
Green Cove Spring in 1964. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for
the State of Florida and for Solite before becoming disabled. His was a
member of Russell Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 36
years Sharon Roland; children Richard E. Day; Lisa Ann (Ronnie) Moore;
and Kathy Day; two brothers, Jimmy and Ernest Roland; 7 grandchildren
and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister

Mr. Angel Luis Rosado age 78, of Lantana passed away Monday, September 19,
2011 in Lake Worth following an extended illness. Mr. Rosado was born in Corozal
Puerto Rico on December 21, 1932 to the late Esteban and Francisca Rivera Rosado
and recently moved to Lantana from Starke. Angel was a retired cook and
attended St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where he worked part-time. He is
survived by his wife of twelve years Margarita Rosado of Lantana, and many

Ross, Mrs. Hazel (Burdette) Moser
Mrs. Hazel (Burdette) Moser Ross, age 75 a longtime resident of Green Cove Springs,
formerly of Athens, TN, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Orange Park Medical
Center.
Born on November 7, 1936 in Evansville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Edd
and Mary (Gentry) Burdette.
Prior to her retirement she was the former owner of the Pastyme Lounge. She was a
life member of the V.F.W. of Green Cove Springs Post 1988, the American Legion
Ladies Auxiliary Post 250 in Middleburg and Aerie 4505 Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Mrs. Ross was pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters, Homer Burdette, Hubert
Burdette, Jack Burdette, Billy Burdette, Johnny Burdette and Mayme Angel.
She is survived by her daughter: Mary Ann Hubbard and her husband Steve Turner
of Middleburg. Her Granddaughter: Christy Perry of Jacksonville, FL. Her brother:
James Burdette of Zepherhills, FL. Two Geat Grandchildren: Brittany Sobotta and
Camron Tillman both of Jacksonville and her long-time companion: Gerald Edick of
Green Cove Springs.

Barbara Marie Rowell, 65, of Middleburg, FL, passed away March 25, 2012. She was
born in Wakefield, MA on May 15, 1946 to Daniel and Mary MacLeod. She had moved to
Clay County in 1984 from Norfolk, VA was a catholic. She had been very active in the
Girl Scouts during the late 80’s and early 90’s. Barbara was a Relocation Specialist
with Watson Realty prior to her illness. She loved knitting and taking weekend trips
with her family. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Roger Rowell of
Middleburg; daughter, Beth Rowell Walt (husband, Steven) of Middleburg; grandchildren,
Shane Matthew Sutton, and Ashlyn Marie Sutton all of Middleburg, FL; sister, Patty
Foley Curley (husband, Charlie) of Wakefield, MA; aunts, Frances Cronin of Delaware
and Eleanor Higgins of New Hampshire; and was loved by many nieces and nephews. The

Mrs. Virginia Pricilla Rye, 61, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 9,
2011 in Orange Park, Fla. She was born February 2, 1950 in Jacksonville,
Fla., to B. Leo and Cordia Harris Perry. She is survived by her husband,
Terry Rye; father, B. Leo Perry Sr.; step-daughter, Amber (Justin)
Alexander; brothers, Larry (Loyce), Leo Jr. (Terri), Jack and Dan
(Bonnie) Perry; sister, Susan (Terry) Smiley; several nieces, nephews
and friends. Graveside service was held Monday, June 13 at Holly Hill
Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Fla., 32068, with
Pastor Tom Croft officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
